The name of the Institute changed several times: 1965-2001 – “Chemical school of Xuzhou”, and then renamed the”Institute of an industrial technology of Xuzhou”. The educational institution was named the best Institute of the state level in 2006. Scholarships
University recruits 120-160 students for scholarships every year. Scholarships for Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree as well as for language courses are provided.
For students wishing to study at the bachelor:
- You do not need to know Chinese to get s scholarship.
- The first year of the course, students will also learn the Chinese language – the cost of training and living 7,000 yuan per year.
- The following years, a foreign student with high academic achievement receives a Class A Scholarship (free tuition and accommodation).
- For students who do not have high academic success, the same conditions of the scholarship remain as in the first year.

Every year Xuzhou College of Industrial Technology recruits more than 70 international students from Central Asia, East Asia, North America.
“Learn in a real production environment” is one of the slogans that accurately conveys the goal of the College. After all, in this environment, it is important not only theory but also readiness for the new future profession specialist. Among of the 42 majors at Xuzhou College of Industrial Technology, the “processing & testing of rubber” major was awarded as the exemplary at the level of Jiangsu district. Technologies of application of polymeric materials, engineering of chemical production – these specialties are also a provincial brand. About 12 000 full-time students are taught at XZCIT, more than 600 employees and representatives of academic staff work.
In 2008, a number of large enterprises with which we cooperate exceeded 500. The Institute has launched the project “hundreds of enterprises on campus, hundreds of teachers in the enterprise”, and promotes a training model in which some classes are held on the territory of more than 20 enterprises.
INFRASTRUCTURE
The total area of the campus is more than 332 thousand m2. On campus there are educational buildings, laboratories, Museum, world library, 2 research centers, dormitories, stadium, basketball courts, parks, and gardens. The campus has its own security points.
RESIDENCE
Foreign students live in a separate hostel in good condition, where there is everything you need: bed, Desk, Internet, wardrobe, bathroom.

One of the attractions of Xuzhou Is the Museum of Terracotta warriors and horses of the Han dynasty. The Museum was founded in 1985. Quanshan national forest Park is located in the southern suburbs of Xuzhou. The Park covers an area of 3,500 sq km It is called “natural oxygen bar”.
