General overview and background
In China there are 3 universities specialized in pharmacy and a well known is Guangdong Pharmaceutical University which owns its network. Apart from being a famous high school, our university has placed primary position in the list of 10 world-class higher institutions. Throughout the Guangdong Region, one leading university in educating youth in pharmacy and other medical substances is also GDPU. Here experts can train along with students can continue their studies in medicine and clinic operations. Our university is capable to offer graduate courses and provide diplomas of master students. No matter where they come from any applicant can enroll our university as it presents a diversity of programs in pharmacy. The university situated on 3 campuses. The first one is in Guangzhou Higher Education Center locating in a magnificent surrounding of the higher mountain and large lake, marvelous flora as well as architectural center. Total territory amounts to over 200 hectares.

Scholarships
University recruits 120-160 students for scholarships every year. Scholarships for Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree as well as for language courses are provided.

Qualified staff
Regarding the teaching staff, the total amount of staff is about 2,500 and teachers and researchers can reach to 1250. Along with, there are over 100 experts in sciences and 290 assistants, 165 employees who have already attained doctorate degrees. Over 520 masters also work in our university.
University study programs
For over 5 decades of improvements, our university has already finished an instructional course providing master courses, bachelor courses and renewing teaching faculties. There are over 16 departments and education centers such as ranging from pharmaceutical science to engineering-related sciences. Students can choose one course out of 27 bachelor-level courses and 8 master level courses. In our university, over 20,000 learners and 500 master degree students are studying.
High employment rate
Our main goal is to give high standard lessons. So our students are welcomed by people of the employment field, as they are educated to flexible and have solid practical knowledge. Looking at the rank of students who finds a job, we can see that the university has reached the highest position among major Chinese universities with over 95 percent. In result, we have matured a majority of talented students in China. Many areas like technology, entrepreneurship, and others have been already occupied by our graduates.
Public services and research bases
G.D.P.U is also a prominent place with its investigation centers. It has already finished laboratories and hospitals for the public, pharmacy agents, survey points and other high degree investigations in the nation and province.
International cooperation and exchange programs
With respect to our university’s relationship with foreign institutions, it has cooperated with 16 countries and provinces in order to develop exchange programs. Several countries, for example, the USA, UK, Taiwan, Japan, Italy, and other countries have agreed to exchange our students each year so that they learn more and have various academic experiences.
