Hebei Agricultural University overview
Our university Hebei Agricultural University was established in early 1900s. It is supported by Educational Ministry, Regional Government of Hebei. Also it is well-known for its long history among the universities in Hebei region as well as because it is considered to be the most ancient institution specialized in agriculture in China. HEBAU has been participating and executing various training projects along with competitions in agriculture.
University offers a wide range of programs in any level. In fact students are able to choose one out of 90 undergraduate and 73 programs. After bachelor degree we recommend you continue your studies in 20 courses in postgraduate degree followed by 35 doctoral level courses which constitutes over 5 investigation departments. Specializing in agriculture and providing through courses, our university forms cooperated educational system of Life-related Science as well as promote the improvement of the economy of the government. In general, we have a civil area, two main areas, a main field of Civil Bureau of Forestry. In addition, over 15 areas are provided in regional degree.

Scholarships
University recruits 120-160 students for scholarships every year. Scholarships for Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree as well as for language courses are provided.

Campuses
You can find a research center, National Engineering Center for Agriculture, located in the north and it is considered to be pivotal one among the universities of Hebei province. Additionally, there are 32 laboratories for regional and state levels along with 19 investigation centers. It also has several medium regarding the environmental knowledge such as Hebei Agricultural University Journal, Forestry Journal and so on. Regarding campuses and other additional buildings, our university contains five campuses in different places, Baoding, Qinhuangdao, Canghou as well as Dingzhou. These campuses constitute over 1.80 mln sq.km. Buildings themselves cover more than 1.3 mln sq.km. Apart from these buildings the university allocated more than 320 hectares for farming, 2750 hectares to farm in forestry, as well as 290 centers to experiment to conduct research lessons.
University staff and study instruments
With respect to libraries, we have gathered of more than 2.50 mlns of books and other study materials. In order to equip university with all cutting edge instruments and other tools government funded roughly 2500 millions of RMB yuan. The university employs broad range of staff in teaching. Over 2550 teachers and professors still work here. Out of them, 460 are experts, 850 are associated lecturers, 168 and 525 are managers for doctors and masters respectively.
The university was constructed to provide wide range of areas including agronomy, forestry and etc. Also we have areas in agricultural, scientific, economical, literature and medical sciences. With its many noticeable achievements the university can compete with other foreign universities. For example, the university was awarded 9 civil rewards and over 90 regional achievements by the government and educational organizations as we achieved some academic attainments.
Our academic achievements
After some investigations we have found a mass of results. To illustrate, throughout 13 years our 1000 works has been assessed and other 250 works has been worth to some awards proposed by ministry of education and province. Apart from these, over 60 organisms are accepted. Our university has attained many achievements that 320 patents as well as 1820 articles have been come out. Over 690 mln youan have been funded by our scientific investigation. We have been working on new projects and creating noticeable impacts on agriculture, science and technology in Hebei. Throughout a decade the number of the awards that our university has won is among the leading high institutions in the region.
International cooperation
Regarding international relationships, the university has achieved educational cooperation within 30 institutions and foreign high schools. To example, we have collaborated with a university in the Netherlands ( Inholland University of Applied Science), US university (University of California Riverside and New Mexico State University) and so on. Students from foreign countries can study either short term or long term studies according to their choice. The degree continues from undergraduate to doctoral level.
In addition, HEBAU has hosted several training course which are supported by the Ministry of Commerce. Оver 550 international students who wants to study master degrees can study in foreign aid programs. As a result, a lot of students participated in exchange programs have been moved to different countries to study more.
