Today, Soochow is a city with a developed infrastructure and economy, which is located on the southeast coast of China. This location gives a lot of advantages and the right to be called one of the largest commercial and industrial cities in the country. It should be noted that the city was officially recognized as part of the public trade zone of the region. Thanks to close cooperation between its trading partners in a comprehensive industrial system, a strong foundation has been established and as a result, great changes have taken place, which has raised the city’s economy upwards.

Nowadays, the higher education institution is a comprehensive educational institution, where they prepare for 11 different programs, namely, such as economics, technology, management, and others. For all the time of its work, the Higher School has gained a significant reputation among other High education establishments in the state, so it is considered as one of the prestigious educational institutions of the country. Soochow University includes 6 campuses with a total area of over 1350000 square meters. High School offers its students 6 types of doctoral programs, 196 kinds of undergraduate programs, as well as more than 100 types of master’s programs.
Number of students, staff
Currently, the number of students enrolled in the university is more than five thousand, about ten thousand of them are graduate and doctoral students. During its work, the university has issued more than 245000 qualified personnel, some of them working in senior positions of state organizations or in international companies, and some have become famous figures in the fields of science and culture.
Faculties
There are three faculties in the Higher School, and a quantity of teachers from all faculties is over four thousand. It should be noted that 3 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences are invited to the university, as well as more than 1,000 professors give lectures and lead research projects. In addition, more than 120 doctoral students work and conduct research projects in the teaching staff of the Higher Educational Institution.
International cooperation
