China University of Petroleum has a dorm called “Beijing Dorm”, is situated in beautiful place crowded with visitors from abroad in Chanping Valley, Beyjing, 10 kilometers away from the great Wall and 8 kilometers away from the city of Min Tomb. China University of Petroleum holds not just a few disciplinary schemes of sciences of petroleum and other fluid energy oils, also includes of these fields of biochemical formulating, petroleum oils and jellies, geology, mechanics and electronics, and plus sciences of software and programming, marketing and other native teaching in the spread from undergrad, grad and master level to PhD programmes.

The university has applied examination carried out by “two-one-one” organization of the government that aiming at investing on over 200 universities, colleges and institutes to fasten their evolution in near the future and the examination result leaded the university to become one of the best universities in China, because of it’s great results in teaching and research and also it was listed as one of the initial universities implemented by the agency pedagogics of the government.
China University of Petroleum is in possession of four colleges, three colleges, six bureaus, 2 R&D Centre, hosting 26 PhD degree programs, master degree programs, 32 bachelor programs and a certificate program for finishing sinology (Chinese-language). Besides, it owes 15 R&D schools, 42 group of members of the schools, 32 labs, 6 stations and 1 principal state-level lab.
The faculty members’ total number is 1560, consists of 354 senior masters, 896 teachers and some expert lecturers. They teach more than 12,000 scholars annually, composed of 1300 PhD collegians, 4200 master-degree English scholars, 7100 bachelor degree seekers and proximately 1000 of them hold on studying. Currently, there are 500 foreign students studying at this university.

In the university, there is a library, keeps over 300,000 books those specialized for the disciplines of the university, and services modernly, for example, it’s e-literature system can find any book of any author to any member of the library. You can use the system from special public rooms, which equipped with PCs and internet-data.

The university is very important R&D station for the local industry of petroleum. In it, there are 29 state-level and regional principal inquiry colleges. Shangdong Star Band of scientific technologies is the spine departnment of the university and the Park of Sciences is very popular with the reputation in the state. China University of Petroleum is going to construct much more scientific edifices and upgrade the subjects to A1 in the world-level.
