1. General

This Policy explains how IE LeadMarket (brand StudyInChinas, “we”) collects, uses and protects personal data.

  • Data controller: IE LeadMarket, IIN/BIN: 910902351612, address: ул. Розыбакиева 250Б, Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.
  • Scope: the website studyinchinas.com, the Instagram account @studyinchinas, our WhatsApp and Telegram chats, and Meta lead forms.
  • Law: Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Personal Data and Their Protection”.

By using the website, submitting a form or messaging us on Instagram, you agree to this Policy.

2. Data we collect

We never ask for your account passwords and have no access to your private conversations with other people.

3. Why we use your data

  • To answer your questions and requests, including sending information automatically in Instagram Direct when you write a code word in a comment or message.
  • To advise you on study programmes in China and find a suitable option.
  • To conclude and perform a service agreement.
  • To record requests in our internal CRM so a manager can contact you.
  • To improve the website, content and advertising based on anonymised statistics.

We do not use Instagram data for any other purpose and do not send mass mailings.

We process data based on your consent and to conclude and perform a contract. You give consent when you submit a form, message us or leave a code word in a comment. You may withdraw consent at any time (section 8).

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data or share it for third-party advertising. Data is accessed only by our staff and the services needed to provide our service:

  • Hosting provider — storing data on the server.
  • CRM systems (Bitrix24 and our internal system) — recording requests.
  • Telegram — internal notifications to our staff about a new request.
  • Meta Platforms (Instagram, Facebook) — message delivery and lead forms.
  • Partner universities in China — only after a contract is signed and only for admission.

We also share data with government authorities when required by law.

6. Storage and security

  • Data is stored on protected servers; only staff who need it for their work have access.
  • Data is transmitted over a secure connection (HTTPS).
  • Data from requests that did not lead to a contract is kept for no more than 3 years.
  • Client data under a contract is kept for as long as Kazakhstan law requires.

When the period ends, or at your request, the data is deleted.

7. Your rights

You may at any time:

  • find out what data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate data;
  • withdraw consent and ask us to delete your data;
  • opt out of receiving messages from us;
  • file a complaint with the authorised personal data protection body of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

We respond to requests within 10 working days.

8. How to delete your data

To delete data received via Instagram or other channels:

  1. Send “Delete my data” to nursultansagyndykkbtu@gmail.com or via Instagram Direct to @studyinchinas.
  2. Include your Instagram username or phone number.
  3. We will delete the data from our systems within 30 days and confirm to you.

Exception: data we are legally required to keep (for example, under a signed contract).

9. Changes and contacts

We may update this Policy. The new version applies from the moment it is published on this page.
