Introduction
Capital Normal University (首都师范大学) established in 1954. It is also one of the best university specialized in various courses in ranging from scientific studies to arts. CNU has become the main source for teaching professional tutors and gifted students. The university includes 18 schools and agents as well as 50 bachelor courses, 112 postgraduate degree programs. In addition, 40 Ph.D. programs also located in the university.
Currently, almost 29,000 students are enrolled in the institution. University education way is all-dimensional as well as multi-layered. Academic staff
Here over 2,500 people are employed in full-scale. Mentors consist of 1,640 of total staff and qualified teachers over 350. In general, more than 90% of tutors have already held a postgraduate degree. The figure for postgraduate teachers is over thousands, and it’s rich with academicians and talents. There are overall 9 teachers who granted with Academy awards in Engineering as well as Social Sciences in both Russia and China.
In addition to 15 parts of Government Councils, 12 ones who are participants of the “ten thousand Talent Plan” project. Furthermore, 13 students are funded by the State Fund for Extraordinary Middle-aged elites. In “1-Batch of 4-Points” almost 20 students are chosen as talented ones. Almost 40 students are awarded high-value status in Beijing’s northern town and about 65 professions received many grants by7 Zen Xianzy Educating and Henry-Fok project for their great performance in the field of teaching. And prestigious achievements were bestowed to hundreds of our instructors.
Exploration and projects
Our institution contains hundreds of exploration departments as well as scientific garden designed to educational institutes. Capital Normal University was also entitled to “National Tech Supporting Program” as it has strong 10 topics. Among our projects, most of them (over 1,350) are devoted to the social way, 26 for the national sector. Although the university became second in Scientific Award, next time in the award it has got the first position. Among these SHU also added 13 Achievements of Technology and 85 rewards in ministerial position to its award collection. During previous 2-3 years over 65,43 mln, yuan is invested for exploration. The institution itself holds a high contribution in publishing with Chinese Herald, Secondary Chinese Teaching.
Campus and courses
Overall university resource amount to over 14,80 billion. The university is so large that its territory reaches to almost 0,9 mln sq.km, in fact, 0,75 mln sq.km are separated for academic intentions. University library is large enough to keep over 1290 thousand study materials as well as documents. Capital Normal University is equipped with the latest technologies in teaching as well as high-speed internet network. Apart from study areas, there is also complex for recreational activities like swimming, badminton and fitness as well as playgrounds equipped with artificial design.
International relationship
The institution has been set strong cooperation with foreign universities. Now the number of them can reach up to 244 institutions in 46 states and provinces. Also, the SHU established 6 institutions and 1 classroom named after Confucius. The Confucius Institutes are also located in different universities throughout the world such as Italy, USA, Russia, Peru, Germany, Hungary, Australia and etc.
