Schools and departments
Liaoning University of Technology runs 13 schools and departments. The university offers 38 programs for undergraduates and 20 teaching programs for postgraduates, which include the following disciplines: biochemistry subjects, matter of physics. In addition, it has modular R&D center, two R&D centers of automobiles and its materials, and inquiry and experiment laboratories of engineering. All of the schools and departments are very popular with teaching quality and results in the province.

Scholarships
Liaoning University of Technology recruits 80-110 students for scholarships every year. Scholarships for Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree as well as for language courses are provided.

Faculties
Over 1,500 teaching faculties are employed by the administration of the university. The personnel of teachers is composed of 850 masters, 223 senior and 493 associated lecturers, two teachers granted by the Council education of Ministry, 62 ministerial level teachers, academicians and middle aged qualified expert masters. They commit themselves not only to teach but also to do great researches. During the last 4 years, the teachers have undertaken over 450 academical projects, and have received for them nearly 50 ministerial level prizes, and plus printed out about 5,000 academical theses and papers, which 200 of them were join to two multinational doc researches.

Liaoning University of Technology pays attention to cultivate talents to the society with the movements of promoting and developing the knowledge of its students, both Chinese and international. The percentage of the grads’ employment is one of the highest rates in China, and all these grads are appreciated by the employers.
Internationalized college
The Internationalized College of Liaoning University of Technology is servicing to enroll and manage foreign students, to enhance ties with oversea cooperation. The college has been taking the exchanging programs and collaboration very well for the time of the authorization in 1988. After that year, Liaoning University of Technology has set up many exchanging programs with over 50 universities and institutes, and has been sending scholars to all parts of the world such as America, France, Australia, Britain, Malaysia, Russia, and Japan.
The collegians here are conferred with diplomas of graduation, degrees of bachelor and degrees of master. There are also lots of collegians studying at the university from France, Poland, America, Pakistan, Korea and so on. Moreover, there is Chinese-language teaching station in the campus of the university to teach all level scholars in Chinese language. The station contains a wide range of courses like Kung-Fu, Calligraphy and Music of China in favor of the overseas who are keen on the culture of China.
