Nanjing University of Post and Telecommunications
The High education establishment was founded by the initiative of the Department of Information Technology, the Higher School began its history in the 1940s, since its inception, the High school is considered a primary regional University. Nanjing University of Post and Telecommunications adheres to its principles of training, the leadership of the institute pays special attention to maintaining the school spirit among students.
Today, the Graduate School is not limited to mail and telecommunications, because students can also study information technologies and fields, which are near to IT. Currently, the university provides training in the following areas: economics, engineering, management, and others. There are 19 colleges and 17 research centers at the Higher School. The university prepares various kinds of specialists (scientific degree), bachelors, masters and doctoral students. Students can choose to live on one of two campuses, which are located close enough to each other and near the center of the region. The total number of square meters of both campuses is 1,332,000 meters.

Detailed information about university
The university has two post-doctoral research centers and offers Ph.D. training programs in three areas. The number of master’s programs is 10, and the number of bachelor’s programs is more than 40. It should be noted that the curriculum pays special attention to the study of signal processing and information, and therefore IT and telecommunication engineering are specialized college disciplines.
In the Higher School, there is a faculty, which consists of over one thousand six hundred employees. About four hundred teachers are supervisors of undergraduates and candidates. It should be underlined that there are outstanding professors in the teaching staff, namely, such as Nobel Prize laureates, members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 3 special scientists and professors of Changjiang. In addition, six special professors appointed by the “1000 Talents” program and 3 professors who were awarded the foundation of outstanding Chinese youth conduct their lectures. Today, the University has more than 13,000 students and about 3,500 undergraduates.
International exchange
It should be noted that the leadership of the Higher School pays special attention to international exchange and building partnerships with foreign universities. The higher education institution has been the training center of the International Telecommunication Union since 1990. During the entire period of its work, it has trained over twenty-five groups of workers, who arrived from over twenty states and regions. Nowadays, the University has established partnership memoranda with universities and research centers in more than 10 countries. More than eight hundred international scholars were invited to give lectures. All this indicates a fairly good development of the High education establishment and its reputation.
