Shenyang Pharmaceutical University
The Shenyang Pharmaceutical University began its history in the 1930s, and since its foundation, the Higher School has retained its historical traditions. The educational institution is considered as one of the best high education establishments among pharmaceutical universities in the state. In 1949, the University changed its location, and nowadays it is located on the riverbank of the Hong River (Liaoning region).
Today the High school is a multidisciplinary higher education institution that offers its students a wide range of specialized areas, especially in the field of pharmaceutical research. At the Higher Educational Institution, there are several specialized schools focused on pharmaceuticals, production, and marketing of medicines (both modern and traditional). In addition, for those wishing to study in the field of management, the Shenyang Pharmaceutical University offers training programs in basic management courses and business administration. The university has permission to prepare students for a Master’s degree and doctoral programs. And today, not only Chinese students are studying at the High education establishment, but also students from other Asian countries.

Scholarships
University recruits 120-160 students for scholarships every year. Scholarships for Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree as well as for language courses are provided.

Programs
It should be noted that High school has all the necessary conditions for comfortable learning and conducting qualitative researches. The structure of the university includes the following institutions:
• Multimedia center;
• Institute of Material Medicine;
• Computer Technology Centre;
• Centre for instrumental analysis;
• Institute of Pharmaceutical Education;
• Botanical Garden which contains different sorts of Medicinal Herbs, as well as an auxiliary pharmaceutical factory for the best accumulation of practical skills.
Staff, professors
More than one thousand workers work in the higher educational institution, four hundred of them are highly qualified teachers, and also about 190 of them are professors and associate professors. The number of students today is about ten thousand. It should be noted, that among the lecturers of the university there is one academician from the Academy of Sciences of China.
It should be underlined that, in the Higher Educational Institution, there is a lively atmosphere of nature and positive, so today, all the necessary conditions for conducting research and obtaining the best education have been created. Researchers and scientists of the university conducted more than three thousand research projects, and some of these works are relevant to this day scientific research. The field of scientific topics covers a wide range of different fields, but the majority of the researches have been carried out in the area of dosages of medicinal preparations and others.
Also relevant topics about the differences of traditional medicine with scientific and their properties. All these steps are taken by students of the university under the guidance of experienced professors lead to the fact that very soon the SPU will become one of the best higher educational institutions of pharmaceutics at the international level. It should be also noted, that among the research projects are completed and carried out there are also those that have been implemented on a commercial basis, as well as applied at the regional or national levels.
Management of the higher education
The management of the higher education institution has placed emphasis on international partnership with other domestic and foreign universities. International academic student exchanges are taking place, partnership agreements have been established with countries such as South Korea, the USA, Taiwan, and others, the total number of partner countries is over twenty. The “Excellent Foreign Student Award” scholarship program is offered as an additional incentive and motivation for foreign students.
