Taiyuan University of Technology (太原理工大学) enters the best Chinese 100 universities, and this was achieved only by one university of the province of Shanxi. As an extra info, the nomination is carried out by the “211” plan of China. In addition, it has become fifth leading university in the Middle territory of the state.

Faculty and courses
Administrating twenty schools, Taiyuan University of Technology offers 360 bachelor degree courses, 79 courses for master degrees, 27 courses for 2nd class doctorates, 5 for the 1st class and five labs for post doctorates’ research-works.
Currently, 20000 bachelor students, 5000 master degrees and PhD ones are pursuing their goal of education in those schools. The university has got 10 regional popular courses, 7 regional funded and 3 popular courses in the country, are estimated to be crucial in the Chinese education.
The faculty of it is quite big and includes 4200 personnel in total, amid them 1900 – teachers and lecturers, 952 masters and professors, and also 73 supervisors of the administration. Invidentally, its headmaster owns a wonderful reputation because of its unforgettable commitment the engineering of coal-chemicals in China’s academy of engineers. 200 masters in estimated were awarded with allowances of the government. Owing to the University’s contributes towards the state and its civilians that have been done in fostering more than 100,000 highly-qualified students, it was awarded with “Perfect institute for undergraduates study” Academic award. The kings of the north, the university’s male basketball team, seven-time winner of Basketball competition among the universities of north and west districts, and plus ranked in the top eight places for over 10 years in the league of China.
