Nanjing Medical University
Nanjing Medical University is one of the wonderful place where student can obtain quality knowledge, the High education institution is located in central street of the city. The date of founding of the University is 1934, but in that time, it used to be the National Medical College of Jiangsu. The first steps in radical reforms of education of the High school was when the college joined the first group of medical High education establishments in China, that action let education institution prepare students in 6-year bachelor programs. By the agreement of the Department of Education, the status of the College changed and since 1993 the college has being as the Nanjing Medical University. It should be noted that the Nanking Medical University has earned a quite good reputation, both at home and abroad, so, it offers the perfect quality of education.

The university consists of two campuses, which called Wutai and Jiangning, apart from that the High School contains 14 schools. Here they are some of them: the education institute of Basic Medical Sciences, the First education establishment of Clinical Medicine, the education institute of Dentistry, the School of Public Health, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nurses School, Schools of Higher Professional and Technical Educations. The last has a bilateral agreement with seventeen direct and indirect hospitals in different regions, which’s list includes Nanjing, Wuxi and other.

The High school offers three types of training courses for the doctoral program, in turn, there are also two levels of the doctoral program, as well as forty-two courses in master’s degree, two 6-year programs of double undergraduate degree and three 7-year programs. Besides, it should also be noted that there is a laboratory of ministry level in the High school and two main laboratories that are created by the regional government, three national disciplines, and seven regional laboratories and research centres for applied sciences. In the High education establishment, there are eleven research institutes and sixteen different kinds of research centres. It should be underlined that the High education establishment has enormous quantity of medical literatures, that is to say it is the biggest Medical library of Jiangsu region and the centre in the literary system of its universities. The university library consists from over one million forty thousand three hundred and thirty volumes and ten thousand separate periodicals.
Today there are more than seven hundred & thirty qualified professors, apart from that ninety-four supervisors of doctoral programs and two hundred & seventy-eight students of master’s programs are studying in the High education institution. It should be underlined that quantity of students who are studying in bachelor’s programs is over ten thousand.
The Management of the Nanjing Medical University actively supports the position of developing relations with other educational and research institutions of higher education both inside the country and abroad. One of the best examples of this is the exchange of researchers and students with hospitals and medical institutions in many countries. The university has a two-way agreement with countries such as the USA, Japan, Canada, Russia and others. Several international, well-known experts and scientists were awarded the title of honorary professor or guest of the Nanjing Medical University. Besides all this, the University Administration takes seriously the quality of education, so, over this time, more than 500 teachers were sent to improve their qualifications and professional level. Thus, many teachers have hone their skills abroad.
Nanking Medical University has a solid history, for over 70 years, the university has graduated more than forty thousand graduates, 1500 of them are graduate students and masters. Most students graduate from the university with local and regional hospitals, disease control centers, and medical research institutes in Jiangsu province and other parts of the country. Many of them today are medical experts and scientists.
