The South-West University of Finance and Economics
The South-West University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) is considered as one of the best universities in the country, which prepares qualified financiers and economists. High School is included in the list of the hundred best universities in the country under the program 211.
The university was created by the reorganization and merger of several colleges and economic institutes. These reforms took place in the mid-twentieth century, and the number of integrated educational institutions is over fifteen. At the end of the 20th century, both the People’s Bank of China (CPB) and the Central Bank of China, took over the management of the higher education institution, later they renamed it as the SWUFE.

The program 211, activated by the government of the country, became the most weighty lever for the development of the High education establishment. Today, the High school prepares thirty-seven types of doctoral programs, 67 types of master’s programs, as well as 32 types of undergraduate programs. In addition, the higher school is preparing for post-doctoral programs in three types, namely, Business Administration, applied and theoretical economics. Four areas of training are carried out at the initiative of the Ministry, thirty-one areas of training are carried out at the regional level.
At the university, three ratified research centers are established by the initiative of the Ministry operate. Management
Management of the High education institution has been created all the necessary conditions for a comfortable research activity for students of the university, thus students are offered modern research centers which are equipped with the latest technology. And also, as active leisure, modern sports halls equipped with new training equipment and technology were created for students. For the convenience of students, the institute has implemented logistics services and provided high-quality Internet connections for the optical fiber network. The information resource center of the university contains over 2.2 million books, including e-books, the number of its own databases is more than 50. It is also worth noting the software used by leading software companies. So, in the China Financial Database Center, specialists use specialized application software developed by Oracle Ltd. and the University of Michigan, the purpose of the software is to collect and analyze financial indicators covering the last 20 years, which makes it a “China Financial Information Harbor”.
The institution of higher education also places particular emphasis on distance learning, since this type of education is becoming increasingly popular today.
