Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, established in 1980. The university covers a total space of 15km2 on its campuses. The Foshan camp is situated in the wooded park of Sanshui, and the Guangzhou-campus is in the center of Guangzhou.

One of the things that the university can boast with is 2,000 personnel members of educating and administration, which among of them 700 are part-time teachers and 1,300 are full-timers. The another feature is its 20 colleges those are enrolling totally 30,000 students with 60 undergraduate programmes and 35 postgraduate programmes in the specialties of legislation, mathematics, economy, business, theory Marxist, administration and seven senior postgraduate programmes in BA (Business administration), PB (Public administration), LM (law management), FI (Finance & Insurance), Accounting and Taxation.
Attention to International connections
Guangdong University of Finance and Economics puts emphasis on foreign connections and actively strengthens it. In this direction, it has made good relations with over 100 colleges and universities all over the world (USA, Korea, Britain, Russia, France and much more). On the present, 41 high level and model schemes with partners have been applied, involve 18 double grade schemes, 12 short termly exchanging schemes, 6 vocational schemes, and 5 prepaid internships schemes. Furthermore, the university’s internationalized colleges are offering various beginner courses. This university has been fostering qualified groups of educating and managing personnel members those are the inability to carry out teaching programs at the international level, to maintain the internationalized disciplines. Guangdong University of Finance and Economics has been sending numerous masters to foreign countries each year for 12 years. In the last year in the holiday of summer, the university dispatched three teams of personnel to the United States and the United Kingdom to participate in advanced educational conferences and to improve their methods. Besides, it is going to set up 10 foreigners teaching institutions in Canada, Australia, UK, and the USA.
