South China Agricultural University (SCAU) is settled in Guangzhou which is situated not far from Hong Kong and Macao. Overall it occupies the space of about five hundred fifty hectares and it possesses an excellent and silent campus environment to be enjoyed by all.
South China Agricultural University’s history takes us back to the year thousand nine hundred nine. The university went at a good pace and throughout several decades transformed itself into a university having set of subjects and become a contemporary and extensive academic institution with such disciplines as technology, arts, science, business, finance, marketing, jurisprudence, and philology.

Educational method
At this particular moment, it is in the process of accepting high profile educational methods and plans to evolve from a university that has a set of subjects to farming academic organizations with individual torrid and subtorrid characteristics. Farming subjects are considered to be the top priority for South China Agricultural University, while biology is emphasized enough during the study. At this educational establishment, bachelor and master programs are evolving at the same time.
Up to this moment, an excess of fifteen schools is being operated by South China Agricultural University. The department of employees, namely teaching staff, consists of almost three thousand instructors, which includes three hundred lecturers working on a regular basis, six hundred docents. There is also one representative of the Chinese Association of Science, two distinctive experts, a chairperson of the “Changjiang Educational Reward Program” and four applicants for the “Distinguished Teens Corporation”.
Facilities
South China Agricultural University composed of five main subjects at a municipal level, five subjects directly under the jurisdiction of Commission on forming and another fourteen municipal and crucial subjects introduced by the Guangdong city. More importantly, there are five first key labs belonging to the government, four ministerial and primary labs of Jiangsu, four experimentation bases and state labs oriented to educational purposes. Moreover, the institution runs nine study centers designated for scholars holding a post-doctoral degree.
Since the academic organization has a good geological position, it has collaborated with a diversity of educational establishments all over the world as well as arranged manifold academic interchanges. Furthermore, it has tied up with thirty-one academic institutions from over ten political territories such as Italy, France, the USA, Korea, Japan, and India. Several institutions in Huangshan and Tongcheng in collaboration with South China Agricultural University are constantly exchanging scholars for academic purposes.
Regional Sericulture Study Association, Pacific and China International Center for Agricultural Training were originated for the sake of advancing global Agricole innovative exchanges by several worldwide global organizations such as UNDP, FAO, and WFC. So far, it has instructed and taught more thousands of foreign scholars and manifold officials from an excess of fifty countries such as Korea, Japan, Prague, Belarus, the USA. It is important to note that SCAU regularly sends teams of instructors and experts to different countries for the purpose of researching and evolving in terms of agriculture.
