Beijing University of Chemical Technology, founded in 1986 by the agency of pedagogics in the plan called “building high-tech educational associations” of their sponsor “two-one-one”, which structured to upgrade local universities to the top in China and to force them to be standard-educated and high-ranked in their main field. University recruits 120-160 students for scholarships every year. Scholarships for Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree as well as for language courses are provided.

Facilities
Three accommodations are servicing in the zone of Beijing University of Chemical Technology. They are Beisanhun, Zihuyan and Min Tomb. All of them have a calm environment and genteel people expect Beisanhun. Beisanhun is the main dorm of Beijing University of Chemical Technology and so, it has active roads, is full of cars and full of people. However, Beisanhun is very large and the crowd is only on some roads of Beisanhun town.
Programs
BUCT covers 16 colleges, namely the School of Chemistry, the School of metallurgy, the School of IT, the School of adult education, School of designing and producing mechanics, the School of socialism, the School of English sciences and so on. The number of programs, which are in use, is 190, composed of 103 grad programs, 64 grad programs, and 23 Ph.D. programs. Recently, Chemistry, metaphysics, and micromolecules grad programs have been added to the programs by the administration in favor of foreign students.
Staff and cooperation
One thousand staff members (800 masters, 180 senior lecturers, and 20 academics) are rejoicing in teaching over 7,000 Ph.D. level collegians, 8000 grads and 15,000 undergrads. Moreover, about 11,000 continuing students (in the adult education school) and 718 grads, which are studying especially for their career at Beijing University of Chemical Technology
BUCT cooperates with many colleges, universities, and institutes in countries like U.S.A, Italy, Russia, Poland, Hungary, U.K, Demark, and so on. Many big enterprises and corporations in these countries such as Dyu-point, Munchen, and B.A.S.F that provide our students with big grants and scholarships according to their degrees and talents. Additionally, all internationalized students are provided with “Chinese for foreigners” program and other self-learning programs.
