Minnan normal university
The history of Minnan normal university dates back to the season of summer of 1957 and to the high school of Longhi. On 13 August 1957, the ministerial longhi commission made a decision of founding Zhangzhau Institute to prepare masters for schools. In 1960, Longhi commission established Zhangzhau masters Institute with authorization from the educations bureaus of the government.
In 1962, after the Council permitted, Zhangzhau masters Institute was associated with Xiameng Normal school, Quanzhau Normal school, and Nanping Normal school and the title was changed to Fujiang Normal school 2 (that is now Fujiang Normal University!). It had to stop enrolling scholars fro, 1965 to 1969 because of revolutions of culture.
At last, in 1985, the educations commission of the government gave an allowance to change the title to Zhangzhau Normal university and to continue training collegians. Until the year of 2012, the university serviced with this title and with a license given by the MOE in that year, it could change its title to “Minnan Normal University”. Today, Minnan Normal University is listed as the best universities in the province of Fujiang. It is located in Zhangzhau that is recognized as an openness and beautiful flowers’ town of the Fujiang’s province, and owns popular history and culture.

Schooling system
Minnan Normal University devotes itself to maintain teaching bachelors as its principal job, and to promote the education of postgraduates as well as regularly to develop still training and continuinings educations. At present, it is composed of 22 schools and departments. The university has 62 specialties, 6 A1 specialties graduate level specialties of educations and 5 doctorate level specialties for the scholars of the schools. Faculties
