Liaoning University’s used to be a regional College, which used to teach humanitarian disciplines. The College started its work in 1948 after accepting the Head of the Government. It should be reminded that Liaoning University changed its specialization to multi-discipline high education establishment after second half a twentieth century. In the same time, an education program of the High school embraced a range of disciplines, here they are some of them: teaching both classical and foreign literature, foreign languages and philosophy, technical engineering, the national language, and innovation management.
The government of China reorganized the College into the Higher Educational Institution in 1958, according to a government decree, the association of a range of educational institutions followed into a single one. Such educational institutions as Shenyang College, region Institute of Finance and local Russian Institute were merged. Today, the area of the higher school is from one million four hundred thousand quad meters. A quantity of quad meters of the building area is 600,000.

One of the advantages of the higher educational institution is that it is included in the national list of “Project 211”, this position was assigned to the university on behalf of the Department of Education.
